Is Playa De Las Americas in Tenreife a good place for partying hard?

I am 18 and going with a couple of friends to tenerife in 2 days in Playa De Las Americas, and staying in the Hollywood Mirage. I really want to have a laugh and go to some night clubs and have a hell of a party! Are there a lot of women there? I'm just looking for a really good time and have the best time of my life! And is there any suggestions for very good clubs there? thank you very much :)
