IS this girl a playa?

If you guys are still in high school, you should both be playing the field. However, if you really like her, I would ask her to the prom. If she goes and you guys have a great time, you have something to build on. The fact that she rejected you while she had a boyfriend is actually a good thing. It means she has some integrity. But if she tells you in private she likes you, then denies it in public, she is playing games and you should run, not walk. The last thing to consider is, if it bothers you that she is always surrounded by guys, this may not be the right girl for you.
