Weed from usa to mexico?

im going to playa del carmen for vaction and i was thinking about putting 4 grams of weed in a lotion bottle do you think i will get caught and what would happen if i got caught in the us or what would happen if i got caught in mexico. and i know the lotion idea is a good way to hide it because i know others who have done it before but not to mexico.
